Application for residence permit for training in Madrid

Obtaining a temporary residence permit for training in Spain

The residency permit is an option for foreigners who have completed their studies in Spain to regularize their immigration status and obtain a residence permit.

This type of residency is specifically aimed at those who have resided in Spain continuously for a certain period and have completed training recognized by the Spanish educational authorities.

At Esteche Abogados, we understand the importance of this process for your future in Spain and we are here to guide you every step of the way.

Requirements for making the request for social roots

1. Continuous residence in Spain

You must have resided in Spain continuously for a period of two years. Your absence from Spanish territory cannot exceed 120 days in total within these two years.

2. Training carried out in Spain

It is necessary to have completed studies recognised in Spain, such as vocational training courses, university studies, master's degrees or postgraduate programmes. This training must be duly accredited by the Spanish educational authorities.
